The ultrasound monitor makes it possible to create a first contact with the baby and bring joy to both the partner, siblings or other family members.

The ultrasound monitor is used to hear your baby’s heartbeat inside the womb.

It can be used from the 12th week of pregnancy onwards.

A listening session should be a maximum of 10 minutes each day.

If you feel stressed and/or have a high heart rate when using the ultrasound monitor, you may hear your own heartbeat, which could be mistaken for the fetus’s.

Babyplan Ultrasound Monitor is not a diagnostic device – and if you have any questions or doubts, you should consult your doctor / midwife.

Likewise, you should always contact your midwife if you feel decreased fetal movement, or are concerned about anything regarding fetal movements or sounds.

Quick guide

1) Insert the batteries provided.

2) Turn on the ultrasound monitor and test it on your own heart first to make sure it is working properly. Make sure to use plenty of ultrasound gel.

3) Once the ultrasound monitor is working properly, you can sit back and apply more ultrasound gel to the surface of the receiver part .

4) Then move the probe towards the stomach, and move very, very quietly and slowly until you can hear the baby’s heartbeat. For the best sound experience, it is recommended to use headphones .

6) Listen and enjoy the baby’s heartbeat.
